Area Sector Analysis Process Training

ASAP Training
Las Vegas, Nevada
April 23-24, 2013

Join us for ASAP Training and learn how to engage your community in targeted, sustainable economic development from the very team of Extension Specialists who created this process!

The Western Rural Development Center Area Sector Analysis Process (ASAP) was designed by Extension Specialists and Agents for Extension to use in collaboration with community leaders and has already been successfully applied to several communities across the region.

ASAP assists communities in targeted, sustainable economic development by identifying:

1.     Community goals and priorities for economic development
2.     Community assets that will help achieve the community’s goals and priorities
3.     Industry needs and factors important for locating their operations in a community
4.     Businesses that are consistent with the community’s goals and priorities

Join the ASAP Team and learn first-hand how to:
  • Start an ASAP in your community/region
  • Gain community participation
  • Apply the ASAP curriculum
  • Facilitate ASAP in your community/region
Discover ASAP at Work in Montana, Nevada, and Arizona!
The ASAP Team will be sharing highlights with you from these state projects.
